General terms and conditions

These terms apply to every online purchase of tickets, subscriptions and other access rights from Le Jardin De Ma Soeur vzw. By completing an order, you agree to these terms.

1. Order and payment

An order is final once payment has been successfully completed, or once the organiser has confirmed the order in another way.

All prices are shown in euro and include VAT, unless stated otherwise. Any reservation, delivery or service fees are shown clearly before you confirm your order.

After placing your order you will receive a confirmation by e-mail. Please make sure you enter a correct e-mail address.

2. Tickets

A ticket is valid only for the performance, date, time, venue and, where applicable, the seat shown on it.

Each ticket carries a unique code that grants admission once. Keep your ticket safe and do not share the ticket code with others.

If several people present the same ticket, only the first person with a valid scan will be admitted. The organiser is not responsible for tickets that are lost, copied, resold or shared without permission.

The organiser may decide to reissue a ticket where sufficient proof of the original purchaser can be shown.

3. No statutory right of withdrawal

Tickets for a performance or event on a specific date are normally not subject to a statutory right of withdrawal.

This means you cannot cancel a purchase within fourteen days without giving a reason, as is possible with many other online purchases.

Tickets are therefore not exchanged or refunded, except where:

4. Cancellation by the organiser

If a performance is cancelled, you will be refunded the amount paid for the cancelled tickets.

The organiser will inform you about the refund and any other options via the e-mail address provided with your order.

The organiser is not responsible for additional personal costs, such as transport, accommodation, childcare or other expenses incurred in connection with the performance, except where the law provides otherwise.

5. Change of date, time or venue

The organiser may change the date, start time, venue, programme or line-up of a performance where there is a valid reason to do so.

In the event of a minor change, the ticket remains valid and there is normally no right to a refund.

If the date, time or venue changes materially, your ticket remains valid for the new occasion. If you are unable to attend as a result, you may request a refund within the communicated period.

A change to the line-up, programme or duration of a performance only gives a right to a refund where the organiser expressly states so.

6. Access and conduct during the performance

You are responsible for arriving on time.

Latecomers may be refused admission or may have to wait until a suitable moment. This does not automatically give a right to a refund.

The house rules and safety regulations of the organiser and the venue apply on site. The organiser may refuse admission to, or ask to leave, anyone who:

In such cases there is no right to a refund.

7. Force majeure

Sometimes a performance cannot go ahead due to an event over which the organiser has no reasonable control. This is called force majeure.

Examples include extreme weather, a government decision, a serious security threat, a power outage, an epidemic, or the venue unexpectedly becoming unavailable.

In that case the organiser will try to offer a suitable solution, such as a new date, a voucher or a refund. Which solution is possible depends on the circumstances and on legal obligations.

8. Liability

The organiser is liable for damage that is the direct result of a fault on the organiser's part.

The organiser is not liable for damage resulting from:

This provision does not limit any rights you have under the law.

9. Personal data

The organiser processes your personal data to manage your order, ticket and visit.

More information is available in the organiser's privacy policy.
